Satpal Roth-Sharma Achieves Acquittal in Major Modern Slavery Defense Case

We are pleased to share that Satpal Roth- Sharma successfully represented a Vietnamese national in a significant six-day trial at Bradford Crown Court involving four defendants.

The case centered on charges related to the commercial-scale production of cannabis, with over 300 kilograms valued at over £2,000,000 found in a large warehouse in Halifax.

Satpal effectively defended her client by presenting a compelling argument focused on modern slavery, leading the jury to a unanimous acquittal after a brief deliberation.

Satpal was instructed by Arooj Shaikh Ahmed at Whiterose Blackman Solicitors in Leeds.
